The calm before the storm

The silence around Sonar Islands was a little spooky the last days. Many mails and posts arrived asking about the release date, since we have announced full-bodied a release in march. Well, that’s where this saying comes in:

“The only way to make god laugh, is to tell him about your plans.”

Now, we have packed the game and shipped it and now there is time to tell you whats in the package: We have made 3 additional islands, we call them the training camp. The first one is the tutorial, which starts automatically right after the introduction to teach you the basics of how to navigate and orient yourself in the game. We recommend everyone to do this in a relaxed and quiet environment, otherwise you will miss or overhear essential parts.

The training island is a small island with a palm tree beach where you can try out everything that was previously discussed in the tutorial without stress. The adventures of attacking and looting gold from other islands require some skills, so it is good to be prepared.

For those who want to learn a little about the history of the Sonar Islands, there is the next island. For each island throughout the game, you can learn what to expect. The miracle of electricity, converted into binary information, creates digital islands with flora and fauna at every point of the earth and in every ear. That paints a picture of the Sonar Islands.
